Christmas

It has now been practically a month and a half since Christmas, but I just wanted to post some adorable pictures taken over the holiday. Karsten had his first Christmas, and it was white!! I couldn't have asked for more.

About to open his Christmas Eve present

Opening presents on Christmas morning, total shock and awe

Doing some damage control on eating too much tissue paper

Due to Karsten's first snow fall, Will insisted on having a photo shoot outside, so I gave him the reigns to do whatever he wanted, and this is what came out, better than I expected!

Enjoying being out in the snow

Having fun in the canoe

Going sledding for the first time....in one of my baskets no less....made out of fabric....I did say this was dad's idea didn't I?

This was obviously the last picture, and HE WAS DONE! Cold and cranky!!

Although the snow was amazing, it did prevent us from seeing some family, but they were eventually seen. We finally were able to introduce Karsten to my Aunt and Uncle, along with my cousins, that live down in Dallas. We had planned on seeing them three times over the year, but every planned trip had to be cancelled. They came up after New Years and had dinner with us in Edmond. Of course, Karsten was on his best manners even though he was tired, and didn't eat much dinner.
Christmas is so much fun with a baby, and I can't wait for all the Christmas' to come. The Christmas story was so real to me this year, with just having had a baby boy. I could suddenly emphasize with Marry and all that she must have felt on that Christmas morning. Truly a miracle.
